Shipping glass, mirror and brass
Almost everything Cando Vixa sells is breakable — mirrored tealight holders, glass votives, filigree metalwork, brass diyas. That single fact shapes how we pack and how long we take. Orders are packed and dispatched by us from Jaipur.
How a holder is packed
Each glass or mirrored piece is wrapped individually, not as a set, so two holders never touch. Sets travel in a divided inner tray inside a double-wall carton with fill on every face. Mirror-inlay and mosaic work gets a second wrap because the loose tiles are what usually crack, not the body. Brass and metal pieces are wrapped to stop them scuffing each other’s plating.
Cut-off and handling
Orders confirmed before 3:00 PM IST on a working day go onto the packing table the same day. Handling is 2 business days, Monday to Saturday. It is deliberately not same-day: each piece is unwrapped, checked for a chipped rim or a missing mirror tile, and re-wrapped before it goes out.
Delivery times
- Metro and large-city PIN codes: 3–5 business days after dispatch.
- Rest of India: 5–9 business days after dispatch.
- Transit overall: 3–9 business days, depending on distance.
- Order to doorstep: 4–11 business days including handling.
Parcels move through Blue Dart / DTDC. Hill and island PIN codes can add a day or two on the last leg.
Festival weeks
Around Diwali and the wedding season the courier network itself slows down — volumes rise and depots back up. We do not change these published windows during festival weeks, and we do not promise a delivery date for a specific occasion. If a piece is for a fixed date, order with a clear week in hand.
What it costs
Free on orders of ₹999 and above. Below that a flat ₹49 on the whole order — not per holder, and never topped up afterwards. The figure is on the cart page before you pay.
Cash on Delivery and UPI
Pay by UPI in advance or take Cash on Delivery. COD covers most serviceable PIN codes; a few remote routes and unusually high-value orders are prepaid-only, and checkout tells you which applies before you confirm.
Tracking
Tracking goes out by email and SMS as soon as the courier scans the parcel. A quiet day usually means a hub transfer. If nothing moves for more than 48 hours, email service@candovixa.shop with your order number and we will chase the courier ourselves.
Film the unboxing — this is the one that matters
With glass and mirror, a claim stands or falls on the video. Start recording before you cut the tape, keep going until every piece is out of its wrap, and report any crack, chip or missing mirror tile within 48 hours of delivery. On that clip we replace or refund at our cost, as set out in the Refund and Returns Policy.
What we do not ship
We do not ship lit candles, wax melts in summer transit where the listing says so, or anything flammable beyond the candles described on the product page. Where a set includes candles, the burn time and wax type are on the listing.
Where we ship
India only. Cando Vixa is an online-only shop working out of Jaipur, Rajasthan, with no showroom and no counter collection.
