Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and every order placed with Cando Vixa, a sole proprietorship trading online from 52, Hawa Sadak Rd, Patel Nagar, Geejgarh Vihar Colony, Bais Godam, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302006, India. Browsing or ordering means you accept them. They are read with our Shipping Policy, Refund and Returns Policy, Cancellation Policy, Payment Policy and Privacy Policy, and they are governed by Indian law — the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000), the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act 2023).

1. What we sell

We retail Candles & Holders online — tealight and votive holders in glass, mirror, metal and fabric, decorative candle plates, and brass diya sets. Orders are placed here and dispatched from Jaipur. We do not run a showroom and we do not take custom or bulk-event commissions.

2. Using the site

Use it lawfully, give an accurate delivery address and a reachable phone number, and do not scrape or republish our listings and photography. If you open an account, activity under it is your responsibility.

3. Prices, currency and tax

Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) including any tax that applies. We trade below the GST registration threshold for individual sellers, so no GST is charged separately and no GST invoice is issued; a plain sale invoice travels in the parcel. Shipping is quoted before payment — free from ₹999, otherwise a flat ₹49. Prices, specifications and stock can change without notice.

4. Orders and our right to decline

An order is an offer to buy; the contract forms on dispatch. We may decline or cancel — refunding in full anything paid — where stock has run out, a price or set count was published in error, the address cannot be served, or the order shows fraud markers. Festival demand can exhaust a line faster than the site updates; that is the most common reason we decline.

5. Payment

UPI and Cash on Delivery only. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, net banking, PayPal or any other wallet, and we never ask for or store card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs or banking passwords. See the Payment Policy.

6. Delivery, cancellation and returns

Handling of 2 business days, delivery in 4–11 business days, free cancellation before dispatch and a 10 days return window are set out on the relevant pages, which form part of these terms. We do not promise delivery for a specific festival date.

7. Handmade variation

Mirror inlay, filigree, pearl and fabric work is hand-finished, so tile spacing, thread tension and shade vary slightly between pieces and between sets. Brass and plated finishes darken with age and handling. This variation is inherent to the work and is not a defect; a crack, a missing component or a bent frame is.

8. Open flame — safety and your responsibility

These are holders for tealights, votives, pillar candles and oil lamps, and a lit flame is inherently hazardous. Never leave a burning candle or diya unattended, keep it away from curtains, children and pets, place it on a heat-resistant level surface, and do not burn a tealight in a holder smaller than the light. Glass can crack if a flame is left burning against its wall. Using our products with an open flame is at your own risk, and following these precautions is your responsibility.

9. No fragrance or wellness claims

Where a set includes candles we state the wax type and burn time. We make no claim that any product purifies air, repels insects, aids sleep, relieves stress or has any therapeutic or medical benefit, and you should treat any such claim you see elsewhere with caution.

10. Intellectual property

Text, descriptions, photography, layout, logo and the name Cando Vixa belong to us or our licensors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. Do not copy or republish them commercially without written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except as stated in these terms, the site and the products are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or of any product — including any loss arising from the use of an open flame — whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing removes your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

12. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay caused by courier-network failure, flood, transport strike or government restriction. Where such an event prevents delivery entirely, we refund in full.

13. Changes

These terms may be revised; the version published on the day of your order governs that order.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

Indian law applies, and disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
